The NWFZ Microscopy Core Facility provides access to various types of imaging equipment, assistance and advice, hands-on training and tips for applying for funding for usage fees from the German Research Foundation (DFG).

You are here:

  • Microscopy Core Facility.

Multi-User microscopes

The multiphoton microscopes of the NWFZ are accessible to all researchers.

The following systems are registered in the German Research Foundation database for research and infrastucture (costs for service can be funded by the DFG):

  • Confocal microscopy system SPE
  • Neurolucida system
  • Fluorescence system

For details on applying for usage fees from the DFG please contact Jörg Rösner (see info box below).

NeuroCure microscopes

The MCF manages microscopes of the Cluster of Excellence NeuroCure. These systems are preferentially accessible to projects associated with NeuroCure.

The following systems are registered in the German Research Foundation database for research and infrastucture (costs for service can be funded by the DFG):

  • Confocal microscopy system SP5
  • Confocal microscopy system SP8

For details on appying for usage fees from the DFG please contact Jörg Rösnern (see info box below).

The following NeuroCure setups can be used for free:
